Sounds about right.
So I am thinking about doing a run for RandomActs and my friend Aiden.
So basically my mum won’t let me donate any money to any charity cause. So I was trying to think how I could help and I’ve decided that I could run miles for donations.
Here is how I plan on carrying this out:
- You guys tell me if you think it is a good idea. (I am going to need to know I have support!)
- I make a video about it and post it on YouTube and my blog.
- People email me screen shots proving they have donated a certain amount of money to either RandomActs or Aiden.
- For every $20 given I will run a mile on a trail around my city. (If you guys think I should change the amount let me know!)
- I will vlog the experience and have a stop watch and what not so everybody knows I am actually running.
- I will upload my vlogs and people will get to see me die and people will receive Random Acts of kindness and EVERY BODY WILL BE HAPPY.
Sounds glorious, right? Now, my mum being my mum, she will probably not support me doing this so I am going to tell her I am spending a day with my friends or something and have my friends drop me off at the trail and pick me up when I have reached my goal!
When I know people will be willing to help I will make a video and provide links and information and all that official shit.

Sometimes I get very annoyed at my mother.
Me: Hey mum can I give some of my money from my AP scores to help my friend’s mum who cant afford her bipolar medication and has been kicked out of her house and is living in a tent?
Mum: We just can’t afford to do that.
Me: Hey mum can I buy these 2 shirts for $50?
Mum: Yeah, sure, I’ll order them for you when I get home.
And then when I asked if I could participate in GISHWHES she said probably not. And then I asked if I could give to RandomActs and she said no and got really annoyed with me.
So basically it is okay for me to spend $50 on shirts but I’m not allowed to give even a dime to charity?
It’s okay for you to give $100 a month to church for them to pay for new HD tvs and XBoxes for the Highschool ministry but you only give $8 a month towards the Dollar club which goes out in the community and helps those in need?
It’s okay for you to go spend $50 on new shoes when you already have 10 pairs but it’s not okay to participate in Running AMOK?
I am sick of being looked down upon in this household because I want to make an impact on the world and help people. I am sick of my mum getting upset with me for looking up to Misha Collins and Mark Ruffalo, people who use their fame to help others and try to make the world a better place. Oh. I’m sorry mum. I’ll just be a “normal” teenager, go out, smoke pot, do drugs, and work a 9-5 job at the local Walgreens instead of doing what I love and helping others.
I just want to cry because I am not at comic Con.
